Our Mary Ward Family is continuing to raise awareness about child labour as part of our pledge last year. Fe y Alegría 58 Mary Ward in Peru is committed to our pledge to end child labour. The students participated in the #RaiseYourHandForKids challenge to raise awareness in the lead up to the 5th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour that was held in Durban, South Africa last 15 – 20 May.
The campaign’s aim was to raise awareness and call on governments and civil society at the Durban conference to commit to ending child labour. You can read the Durban Call to Action on the Elimination of Child Labour AQUÍ.
