The 70^e Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human rights reminds us that above all “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights”, as stated in Article 1. That means you, me and everybody. These days we are constantly reminded that it depends on each one of us, as individuals and institutions, if we are to see human rights protected universally, if the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is fully implemented on time, if we have a planet that is habitable and peaceful for future generations. Pope Francis reminds us, The Secretary General of the United Nations and leaders who represent moral authority in our world today constantly challenge us to play our part.
